SUSPENDED PICNIC...FLUXUS?!

My friend, Melissa, and I collaborated on this "Suspended Picnic" piece for our Absurdist Laboratory class. It was great fun, we held a FAUX FLUXUS FESTIVAL (as a class) and everyone made a piece they considered to be fluxus. Whether or not we achieved true fluxdom or not is debatable (what do you think?) but mostly we just wanted to have a good laugh and eat...and we did! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER

There is a birthday tradition in our small family where we all have to wear goofy party hats and the birthday girl (or boy) has to wear "nerd glasses" and (optional) moustache. It has been brought to my attention that we have unconsciously been playing out a scene from one of my favorite movies, Running on Empty. Strange but true, i guess.
